Woodcraft for Women is a six week course to teach women the basics of woodworking. participants will learn how to cut and measure wood, how to fix wood together and how to use power and hand tools safely. There will even be opportunity to turn a pen or bowl on the lathe. All participants will make a bug hotel and then have a chance to make their own project. Previous learners have made planters, tables, pens and candlesticks.
This course is suitable for those who already know how to knit and those wishing to advance existing skills
Materials will be provided for the bug hotel. Certain personal projects may require the learner to purchase their own materials.
All courses must be booked and paid for in full before the start date. If a course has already started and you have not booked, please call before turning up as spaces may not be available. Please also be aware that some courses may be cancelled if we do not reach minimum numbers.
