A 6 week course to learn how to use hand and power tools in a Wood Workshop to create wooden items

Starts Tuesday 23rd April 2019 10am – 12.30pm for 6 weeks (excl. half term)

Full Fee: £45/Retired: £12/ Low Income: Fee Exempt

plus £20 materials 

Learn to use hand tools, power tools and machines safely while you make objects from wood.  You will learn how to measure accurately, saw wood, join it together three ways and then make a bug hotel.  Once these skills have been learnt, you will be able to choose from a range of projects to further develop your skills.

Past projects for learners have included wooden pens turned on a lathe, toolboxes, shoe racks and Christmas Eve boxes.

This course is suitable for beginners in the workshop and those wishing to refresh their skills.

Maximum 8 people per course.  Please book early as these are popular courses.
